		<description>We have mourning doves, at least 6, who visit our birdfeeders. That is, they feed on the ground because they are &quot;groundfeeders.&quot; I think they are beautiful birds and their cooing is very mournful! I have never seen their nests or babies, though. Please let me know if the eggs hatch!

They often roost together on our nearby telephone wires, and usually in pairs. They mate for life.
